Clowns and Fetuses is a collaborative project that consists of found sounds, spoken word, and various conventional, unconventional instrumentation used in non-conventional instances. They research historical facts and mix it with folklore to create a unique narrative. This provides a context for video art director Rich Polysorbate’s interactive video collages, which helps set the mood for the performers.
The Dream Machine was invented by Bryon Gysin to influence a dreamlike state through the flickering light and varying colors, which creates a dreamlike state for participants looking into the light. The folklore, mixed with dreamlike state of The Dream Machine, help to create imagined memories for the participants.
