Welcome to the electronic music world of circuit bender, producer Igor Amokian. Whether he is taking you on a musical trip of bizarre noise or blasting the audience with his distorted beats, no two shows are ever the same. How could they be, he mostly uses circuit bent instruments and toys that are for the most part very random and unpredictable. Igor Amokian has been recording, releasing music and performing live for several years now, either solo or with various groups Amokian brings his unique sounds to the party and studio. Igor performs regularly with Wire Here w/ wife Karen, Skyline Electric and Machine Circuit along with occasional sit-ins with G.E. Stinson, Ogogo (RIP), Bavab Bavab, among others. Igor Amokian’s discography includes an incredible collection of custom made CD’s, appearances on various compilations, splits and collaborations and vinyl on labels like: Timelapse, IHAA, Amp-Rec, MXN Dist. to name a few. Blending elements of Dub, Breakcore, Hip-Hop, 8-bit to avant-garde. Igor has also had a couple of his circuit bent works on display at local galleries and exhibits like “Speakerhead” at Soundwalk 2010 and “Sined In Tryplykit ” locked grooves installation at SoundWalk 2011.
