The piece for SoundWalk 2011 is called Evening Alphabet — a work for three voices. Twin 12 year old girls and their mother recount the English alphabet in overlapping sonic waves. The piece is recorded on a loop which plays at 26 minute intervals. For SoundWalk 2011, there will be an interruption of the recording for a live performance of the work every hour from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the 26th minute, for 26 seconds.
Does anyone know how many words they will say in their lifetime ?
